The Analog Stable is being built around modern-classic Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini models: cars whose character invites a closer look, and whose individual histories deserve to be told clearly.
Our first public chapter is editorial. The journal and model introductions are available to read now. Dealer inventory, vehicle histories and market information are in development; no live marketplace inventory or valuation service is offered in this release.
The listing we want to read.
Price and mileage should be easy to find. Factory specification, current configuration, service history and useful documentation should be straightforward to distinguish. A section called “Why this car” will bring together the particular qualities of an example, with support for the claims.
We want to make room for uncertainty, too. A seller’s statement is useful information, but it is different from a fact supported by a document or an independent inspection. The origin and date of an observation should remain visible.
Relationships with dealers.
We plan to work directly with participating dealers to present their inventory with permission, keep it current and connect interested buyers with the seller. Our initial conversations are with a small group of specialists. We are not yet publishing a participating dealer directory.
Independent editorial selection.
Our featured-car stories will be selected on editorial merit. Dealer membership will not buy a favorable feature. When a car interests us, the story should explain why, what supports that view and what a prospective buyer should still investigate.
People who know these cars.
We are developing relationships with mechanics and restoration workshops for independent inspections and ownership projects. The planned network will not charge workshops referral fees. Buyers will choose their specialist and agree the work directly with them.
Photography with a history of its own.
We are preparing original owner stories and photography. The illustrations in this opening collection are clearly labeled. Dealer and photographer images will carry the agreed credits when permission to publish has been established.
