A little clarity goes a long way

Questions, answered.

From the first search to the next chapter of ownership. Here is how things work today—and what we are preparing for launch.

Updated October 4, 2026 · Seller plans below are proposals for review. Registration, payments, and email alerts are not active yet.

01

Getting started

A place to understand the car before choosing the one.

What is The Analog Stable?

The Analog Stable brings model guides, ownership stories, and a developing marketplace together for enthusiasts researching their next car. Our focus starts with Ferrari, Porsche, and Lamborghini, with room for other cars that reward a thoughtful search.

What can I use today?

You can read the guides and journal, explore On the Road, set detailed search filters, save a named search, and manage your favorites in your browser. Vehicle feeds, seller registration, paid listings, and email notifications are still being prepared. An empty search currently means there are no published matches; it is not a statement about the wider market.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed to read the site or use its current search tools. Saved searches and favorites are associated with the browser where you created them. They do not sync between devices, and clearing cookies may remove access. Customer account registration is not available yet.

Which languages are available?

English is available now. French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch are planned. Their two-letter codes appear in the language menu, but those choices will stay unavailable until the translations are ready.

How can I contact you?

Our public email address and social profiles are being set up. We will add working contact links when they are ready. Please do not send documents or payments to an address that has not been published on this site.

02

Finding the right car

Search the details that make a car right for you.

Can I search for several models or versions at once?

Yes. Select every model you would consider, then choose specific variants where they are available. For example, you can search for an F355 GTB and GTS together without including the Spider. A selected model with no variants checked includes all of its versions. Detailed variant choices are still being expanded.

Which details can I filter?

Filters include model and variant, year, budget, mileage, country, seller type, body style, transmission, drivetrain, steering position, colors, interior material, condition, accident history, fuel, power, roof, and manual-conversion status. Matching depends on the information supplied with each listing; an unknown specification is not treated as a match.

How do the price menus work?

Choose a minimum and maximum in increments of 10,000 in your selected currency. A minimum of 500,000+ includes cars priced at 500,000 or above. A maximum of 500,000+ removes the upper limit. These menus control your search budget, not the asking price a seller may set.

Will a budget in U.S. dollars include cars priced in euros or Swiss francs?

Yes, when current reference rates are available. The search supports USD, EUR, CHF, GBP, JPY, CAD, and AUD, and compares supported foreign asking prices with your selected budget. The original asking price stays visible alongside an approximate conversion. The rate date appears on the search page. Shipping, taxes, import costs, and payment fees are not included. If rates are unavailable or too old, foreign prices cannot be matched to a currency-specific budget.

Can I compare mileage in miles and kilometers?

Yes. Choose your preferred unit when setting mileage limits. The search converts miles and kilometers for comparison. This does not verify an odometer reading or establish a car’s total lifetime mileage.

What does the country flag mean?

It indicates the car’s reported current location. It does not identify its original delivery market, previous owners’ countries, or eligibility for import.

Does a listing or model guide guarantee a car’s condition?

No. A model guide explains what to investigate; the individual car still needs its own review. Ask for supporting records and an independent inspection by someone who knows that model. A seller’s accident-free description is a claim to check, not a certification from The Analog Stable.

03

Saved searches & favorites

Keep your criteria separate from the cars you are following.

How do saved searches and favorites differ?

A saved search keeps your criteria: models, versions, budget, location, and other filters. Favorites save individual cars. You might save an F355 GTB-or-GTS search and also follow a particular car that catches your eye.

How do I save and manage a search?

Apply your filters on Find a Car, then give the search a name and enter your email in the Save This Search section. From Saved searches, you can reopen current matches, pause or resume a saved request, or delete it. Keep the private link shown after saving if you want a separate way to access that request.

Will you email me when a matching car appears?

Email alerts are not active yet. Saving a search records your preferences, and you can reopen it to check current matches. Email verification and delivery must be available before automatic notifications can start. Saving a search does not subscribe you to a marketing newsletter.

How do I follow an individual car?

Once listings are available, use Save to Favorites on a listing. Return to Favorites in the same browser to review or remove your saved cars. The feature currently stores your selection through that browser’s session; there is no cross-device account sync.

Will my favorites show price changes?

When the site receives an updated listing, your favorites can show a price change compared with the version you saved or last marked as reviewed. Check the list to see those changes; email updates are not active yet. A change in an exchange rate alone is not presented as a seller changing the price.

Does a removed listing mean the car sold?

Not necessarily. A listing can expire, be withdrawn, or disappear from its source. We use an unavailable or no-longer-listed status unless the source specifically reports a sale. A removed advertisement is not proof of a completed transaction.

Can I delete my email and saved search?

Yes. Delete the search from Saved searches in the same browser, or use the deletion option on its private saved-search page. This removes that saved request from the active database. Routine backups may retain older copies until they expire.

04

Private sale

Clear details make a better first conversation.

Can I list my own car?

Private-sale registration and checkout are in preparation. The selling page shows the proposed launch offer so you can see what is planned. It does not currently accept a listing or charge a payment.

What is the proposed private-sale launch offer?

The proposal is $99 for 99 days for one car, available during the first six months after seller services launch. Each paid listing would receive its full 99 days from publication. The proposed offer has no automatic renewal. Pricing, launch dates, and final terms will be confirmed before checkout opens.

Is the proposed $99 fee monthly or due when the car sells?

It is a proposed one-time advertising fee for a 99-day listing, not a monthly subscription or a payment triggered by a sale. The proposed plan has no sales commission. These terms are still under review, and no payment is being collected.

What should I prepare before creating a listing?

Gather the exact model and variant, model year, asking price and currency, current location, mileage and units, ownership history, and recent maintenance. Describe modifications, known issues, and gaps in the records plainly. A clear account of what you know—and what you cannot document—helps the buyer ask useful questions.

What photos will make my listing useful?

Prepare a recent, complete set: all four corners, both sides, interior, seats, instruments, engine compartment, luggage space, wheels, and visible wear. Include close-ups of modifications and flaws. Use photos you are authorized to share, and keep license documents, home addresses, and other personal information out of public images. Final upload limits will be shown when listing tools open.

How should I describe an unusual specification or conversion?

Separate documented factory equipment from later changes. For a gated-manual conversion, explain who did the work, when it was completed, and which records are available. For a rare factory option, identify the supporting documentation. Similar-looking cars can have very different histories.

Can I change my asking price or mark my car sold?

Seller editing tools are not live yet. Editing a listing, adjusting the price, and choosing sold or withdrawn status are part of the planned seller workflow. We will publish the exact steps before accepting paid listings.

05

Dealers

A considered launch for specialist inventory.

What is the proposed Founding Dealer plan?

The proposal is $199 per month for up to 20 active vehicle listings, with the first 99 days free. The trial would begin when the dealer’s inventory goes live. Continuing after the trial would be optional, at $199 per month. The trial would not turn into a paid subscription automatically. The plan would have no annual commitment or sales commission. Enrollment and billing are not open, and final terms are still under review.

What would founding dealers receive?

The proposed launch package includes hands-on inventory setup, a dealer profile with direct contact information, and help organizing model, specification, and provenance details. These services are being prepared. We will confirm the available tools and onboarding process before enrollment opens.

Can you import inventory from our website or feed?

Dealer feeds are being prepared. Compatibility depends on your provider, data format, update frequency, and permission to publish the content. Automatic import is not connected yet, and a link to a dealer website alone does not create a working feed.

What if we have more than 20 cars?

The proposed founding plan covers up to 20 active listings. Larger inventories would need a separately agreed package. Additional prices and inventory limits have not been finalized.

Will there be listing statistics, newsletter coverage, or social promotion?

Seller statistics, newsletters, and social promotion are not active yet. They are not included as guaranteed benefits of the proposed launch offer. We are not promising a number of views, inquiries, featured posts, or sales.

How would a dealer cancel?

The proposed plan has no annual commitment. Billing dates, cancellation steps, and what happens to active listings after cancellation will be stated before anyone subscribes. No subscription can be started on the site today.

06

Shipping, shop & ownership stories

A few practical details beyond the search.

Does The Analog Stable arrange vehicle shipping?

Our Shipping page lists West Coast Shipping, Marlog, and CFR Classic as resources for international vehicle transport. Darin has worked with all three, including CFR Classic for deliveries from Europe and Australia to California. The page is a resource, not a shipping booking service. Request a current written quote and confirm the scope directly with the company.

Does a converted asking price show my complete purchase cost?

No. Currency conversion only helps compare asking prices. Transport, inspection, insurance, import charges, registration, and transaction costs can change the total. Confirm the costs and requirements for your specific car and destination before committing.

Can I order shirts, stickers, or artwork?

The shop is currently an artwork preview. Orders and payments are not available yet. Product details, sizes, shipping charges, accepted payment methods, and return terms will be published before the shop opens.

What is On the Road?

It is a gallery of real ownership: road trips, local stops, events, and time in the workshop. Cars shown there are part of the story and are not automatically offered for sale.

Who is behind The Analog Stable?

Darin created the site after years of researching, buying, and importing enthusiast cars. Visit About Us for the story behind the project and the experiences that shaped it.
